Hunts Point Fish Alarm

SJH conducted a field survey, provided complete design services and construction support services for a new fire alarm system to replace the existing system at the New Fulton Fish Market in the Bronx, NY. Our team reviewed the available as-built plans and inspected the site. We collected on-site information, including existing electrical circuit panel board information and circuit diagrams. The new system is designed to protect the entire 430,000-square foot facility, featuring with nineteen bays and eight separate entrances, with fire extinguishment control while meeting the latest 2014 New York City Construction Code with NFPA 72 Amendments and the NYC Electric Code. Additionally, SJH prepared design plans, specifications and the construction cost estimate broken down by labor, material and equipment as part of the bid package.
