PROJECT DESCRIPTION
SJH provided construction inspection services for this $4.4 million project. The project involved replacement of deteriorated concrete bridge deck slabs; repairs to deck spalls, headers and deck joints; removal of asphalt overlays; placement of new membrane for waterproofing; resurfaced roadway and bridge decks; repairs to sidewalks, parapets and curb surfaces; parapet replacement; pavement striping and other incidental work along the Garden State Parkway from MP 2.4 to MP 129.7 in Cape May, Burlington, Atlantic, Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex Counties, New Jersey. SJH’s team of inspectors were also responsible for monitoring the contractor’s lane closure procedures and the implementation of Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) plans.
