MTA Consultant Services to Perform Code Compliance Reviews on an As-Needed Basis
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
SJH was selected as a prime consultant to perform code compliance reviews of MTA tenant spaces on a task order basis. This effort supports the MTA Real Estate Department with code compliance and plan reviews to evaluate retail lease, license agreement, other agreements involving tenant construction within properties owned, leased, or operated by the MTA, the Long Island Rail Road, New York City Transit, and Metro-North Railroad. The retail occupancies within the Agencies’ passenger stations provide various amenities to the Agencies’ riders and the public.
Ten tasks have been assigned to date: SJH provides detailed comments for Architectural, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Mechanical, and Plumbing disciples, along with disposition of the drawings as ‘Approved’, ‘Approved as Noted’, and /or ‘Disapproved’.
