PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project involved the in depth inspection, prioritization and development of contract documents for the repair and resurfacing of bridge decks in the Southern section of the New Jersey Turnpike. Forty seven (47) bridges were included in this program. From prioritization and the available budget, sixteen (16) bridges were included in the contract documents for repairs of deck parapet, steel bearings, and substructures. Drawings included Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) and staging details. Approximate construction cost is $6 million.
