Bathgate Industrial Park

The Bathgate Industrial Park is a 20-acre, 454,000 SF space for light industrial, distribution, office and educational uses. Opened in 1982, the park is a joint development effort of PANYNJ and the City of New York’s Economic Development Corporation. Over 1,000 employees work at the park for businesses including drug manufacturers, academic centers, food distributors and a day care center. As subconsultant to CHA, SJH provided facility condition surveys for 4 of the 8 buildings. SJH provided a two-person team for the inspection of Bathgate Building Blocks 2914, 2915, 2920, 2921. The buildings inspected contain a pharmaceutical company, an educational opportunity center, and medical supply store. The condition surveys were 100% visual and 10% hands on. Inspections included the visual inspections of the ceilings and suspected deficiencies of the ceiling supports. Our Assistant Team Leader and Team Member produced reports detailing the findings of the inspection, observed deficiencies, and recommendations for repair in accordance with Authority standards.
