PROJECT & PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
SJH Engineering, P.C. team offers proposed personnel for the Program Management and Support services with demonstrated experience and skills in planning, development, design, ongoing management, and administration of complex, multidisciplinary work efforts that encompass sensitive policy implications and extensive reporting requirements.
Our Program Management capabilities have been built through our project management work experience over the years on contracts with a variety of State and Federal Government Transportation agencies.
Program Management Approach
Our Program Management approach focuses on the following aspects:
- Planning the Work – Developing project objectives, scope, assumptions and risks, approach, organization, approval requirements, and cost/duration.
- Preparing Focused Work Plans – Step-by-step development of procedures for producing project deliverables and managing the project.
- Defining Project Management Procedures and Implementing Necessary Systems – including how to manage issues, scope changes, risks, quality, and communication.
- Implementing the Work Plan and Monitoring Budgets and Schedules.
- Due diligence of the Warning Signs – variances in schedules and budgets, team morale, quality of deliverables, and quality control steps.
- Managing the Scope.
- Approval of Scope Changes.
- Upfront Identification of Risks and Mitigation Plans.
- Expedient Resolution of Issues.
Our Program Managers will be responsible for the following functions:
- Schedules, budgets, and quality of all programs.
- Accountability to the executive sponsors of the Agency and stakeholders.
- Conducting meetings with the Agency Executives and personnel.
- Developing program plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Reviews and approvals of project plans for conformance to program strategy, plans, and schedules.
- Serves as liaison between the Agency and Program Steering Committee and conducts periodic. briefings/status updates.
- Participates in decision-making process.
