Traffic control in the work zone is crucial to the success of any highway construction project.  Effective traffic control reduces the risk of accidents, minimizes inconvenience, and ensures a high level of safety for both the motoring public and construction workers on the work site.

Our extensive and continuous work throughout NJ, NY, and GA has contributed to the development of experienced transportation design professionals who are well-versed in the requirements of all agencies. SJH provides MPT and staging drawings for the construction of structures at various stages of completion.  

Managing traffic during accidents and other emergencies is a vital part of any construction project.  Our inspection team has a Corrective Action Plan ready to be implemented in emergencies.  The plan may include reopening closed lanes to ease congestion, a more coordinated action plan involving the installation of additional VMSs’, and the introduction of radio broadcasts to help alleviate traffic delays.
