Completion Milestone for $1.7B Hunts Point Access Improvement Project!
SJH congratulates NYSDOT on the successful completion of the award-winning, transformative Hunts Point Access Improvement Project! SJH was a proud DBE partner supporting the Skanska/ECCO III/Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson Inc. team on Contract 1 and DeFoe/El Sol/Parsons’ team on Contract 3. SJH is the Engineer-of-Record for the large span water main protection structure, Ramp SE over Amtrak/CSX with complex framing and integral abutment design, Bryant Ave. Pedestrian Bridge over Amtrak/CSX/Bruckner Expressway/Bruckner Blvd., as well as numerous retaining walls and sign structures.
