Design Build Statewide

As a subconsultant to WSP, SJH provided design oversight and design quality assurance services. Specific tasks included performing Quality Assurance activities of the Engineer of Record’s Quality Control Plans, conducting final reviews of Design-Builder submittals for project designs prior to release for construction—including drawings, specifications, reports, calculations, and other contract-required documents related to geotechnical, structural, and civil engineering—to ensure compliance with all NYSDOT policies, manuals, engineering bulletins, RFP documents, and engineering instructions. SJH also reviewed temporary structure submittals, including plans and calculations.
