BENEFITS SUMMARY
The eligibility for joining all SJH Benefits is the first of the month after completion of two full months of service.
HEALTH & MEDICAL PLAN
The firm currently provides health and medical care coverage. Currently, company offers Health and Dental under Cigna Insurance and Vision under VSP Insurance. Employees are responsible for 50% of the monthly premium and the company will pay the rest. After two years of continuous full time service, employee contribution will be reduced to 25%.
VACATION DAYS
The firm provides 10 vacation days annually to all regular full time employees. Vacation days will be increased from 10 to 15 days after five years of continuous full time service and from 15 to 20 days after 10 years of full time service.
SICK DAYS
Sick leave is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. An employee can only use up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year. The firm may require written verification that the employee used sick leave for sick leave purposes. Sick leave cannot be carried over to the following year.
HOLIDAYS
Firm observes 7 holidays which includes a total of 8 PTO days. (New Year’s Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, and Christmas)
401 (K)
Company provides retirement plan to all employees. Currently, this plan is administered through Paychex. To be eligible for the annual match, all enrolled employees must complete a minimum total of a thousand (1000) hours of service in the previous calendar year and must have worked up until the last date (Ex. December 31st). 401k is matched every year and is discretionary upon Principal’s approval.
LONG TERM DISABILITY
The firm provides long term disability insurance to all regular full time employees after one year of service. The firm pays the full insurance premium.
LIFE INSURANCE
The firm provides life insurance to all regular full time employees after one year of service. The firm pays the full insurance premium.
FSA BENEFITS
Company provides ‘Dependent Care FSA’ or ‘Healthcare FSA’ (FSA = Flexible Spending Account) to all regular full time employees. DCFSA allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars for dependent care expenses including daycare. HFSA allows you to set aside pre- tax dollars for eligible medical, dental and vision expenses that are not covered under an employee’s primary health care plan. The plan allows up to $610.00 to roll-over into the following Health FSA plan year.
