Structural Integrity Inspections of Various Buildings at the Newark Liberty International Airport
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project involved the structural integrity inspections of parking structures, office buildings, hangars and storage facilities at Newark Liberty Airport. Deteriorations were categorized as Safety, Routine, Priority and Immediate Action. Field notes were developed into CADD sketches and the final report prepared with the concurrence of the Authority. In addition, an order of magnitude cost estimate also was developed for the proposed repairs. Ten percent of members received hands on inspections. SJH provided a complete team including a Team Leader and an Assistant Team Leader for this contract.
