LaGuardia Airport East Garage to Terminal C Pedestrian Walkway
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Task 1
SJH was tasked to design a temporary platform and shielding at LaGuardia Airport as per PANYNJ standards during the construction and installation of the new pedestrian bridge. The new pedestrian bridge connects Terminal C and the East Garage. Detailed framing and elevation plans were developed along with Truss framing options.
Task 2
For the second task, SJH designed and developed erections plans for the installation of the new pedestrian bridge as per PANYNJ standards and per project criteria. Planned and developed the erection sequence of the pedestrian bridge in conjunction with the drawings for the stairwell framing. Developed the schematics/ plans for the Space Truss Construction for 3 spans. Also coordinated the moving of the Space Truss to their final locations.
