SR I-95 Cambria St.

As a subconsultant, SJH prepared design calculations for the erection of the superstructure for some spans of I-95 over Cambria Street in Philadelphia, PA.  This contract is part of a larger $160M project to replace structurally deficient bridges that carry the mainline, improve the safety of the network, enhance mobility, increase mainline capacity, and improve components of the transportation system which are near the end of their design life. SJH participated in rebuilding ramps and improving connections at several locations near the interchange of Interstate 95, Betsy Ross Bridge, and Aramingo Avenue.  

Under this contract, the team provided engineering services under the following tasks: 

• Task 1 – Developed calculations for load cases I & II 
• Task 2 – Designed lateral stability 
• Task 3 – Designed rigging
