Performance of Expert Professional Facility Condition Survey Services as Requested on a Call-in Basis
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Under this Port Authority on-call contract, SJH Engineering, P.C. (SJH) was a subconsultant to WSP on nine (9) tasks with fees ranging from $14K-$62K. SJH participated in the inspections and the preparation of the reports, as detailed below:
Condition Survey of SIB Buildings and Miscellaneous Structures, Various Locations: SJH provided CAD assistance for this task.
Condition Survey of Buildings 14, 32, 33, 146, and 151 at the JFK Airport, Queens, NY : SJH assisted the team with the inspections of the above buildings at JFK Airport.
Inspection of Path Macmillan Bloedel Building, Consolidated Maintenance Facility, Caisson 1 Head House, and the Shed at D-Yard, NJ: SJH’s PATH safety-trained inspectors supported the team on these inspections.
Inspection of Lincoln Tunnel Ventilation Buildings Facade, NY and NJ: SJH assisted with the inspections of the facades and the development of the inspection report.
Inspection of Air-Train Stations and Support Buildings at the Newark International Airport (EWR) Newark, NJ: SJH provided an assistant team leader and CADD person to support the team on these inspections.
Inspection of BMW Parking Structure, Port Jersey, NJ: SJH provided 100% visual and 10% hands on inspections for the condition survey of the BMW parking structure. The project included the inspection of various building components, noting all the field findings including safety and routine repairs. Used man-lift to reach otherwise inaccessible parts of the building safely and efficiently.
Inspection of PATH Railroad Avenue, Newport Vent Buildings, and H & M Powerhouse, Jersey City, NJ: SJH assisted the team with the inspection and report preparation on this task order involving the inspections of the above buildings.
Condition Survey of Airtrain Station Buildings 405, 407, 408, 411, 412, 414, 415, and 417 at the JFK Airport, Queens, NY: SJH provided an assistant team leader and CADD support for these 100% visual and 10% hands-on inspections. The staff assisted the team in the development of CADD drawings and tables for the report.
