SERVICES PROVIDED
We provided construction inspection on the New Jersey Turnpike for the $3.5 million reconstruction of inlets and miscellaneous roadway repairs from milepost 0 to 83. The project included selective demolition, replacements, and reconstruction of drainage inlets in median areas of the roadway. Inlet reconstruction consisted of sawcutting existing asphalt, removing existing grate, rebuilding inlet walls, removing debris, cleaning existing pipes, rebuilding channels and benches, resetting castings to proper grade, and paving around inlets. Our inspection personnel monitored work so the project was in strict compliance with NJTA specifications and contract documents.
