PROJECT DESCRIPTION
SJH, as a subconsultant to JMT, provided Construction Inspection services for the implementation of Energy Conservation Measures at several Commission facilities. The electrical work included lighting improvements and the mechanical work included HVAC equipment replacements at the following facilities:
- District I – Trenton Morrisville Toll Bridge Administration Building and the New Hope Lambertville Toll Administration Building
- District II – I-78 Toll Bridge Administration Building and the Easton Phillipsburg Toll Bridge Administration Building
- District III – Portland Columbia Toll Bridge Administration Building, Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge Administration Building, and the Milford Montague Toll Bridge Administration Building
The work was phased to maintain continuous operations of the administrative and maintenance buildings. At some facilities, our inspector worked closely with the contractor to verify the feasibility of moving the equipment through the narrow spaces for installation. Daily inspection reports were prepared and submitted to the Commission. Our inspector attended regular progress meetings and participated in the punch list walk through.
