Description:

SJH is seeking a seasoned results-driven Business Developer to support strategic growth and long-term business goals to develop our presence in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry in Transportation and Building business lines. This role focuses on strategies for building and maintaining client relationships, analyzing competition, market research, identifying opportunities. Key Responsibilities: • Market Research & Strategy: Research and gather information on potential clients and projects, schedule meetings with new/existing clients, lead client meetings and presentations. maintain regular follow-ups and client engagement. • Networking & Representation: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows, actively involved in professional and community organizations, represent the firm in professional organizations Participate in client organizations, actively involved in professional and community organizations. • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and project teams, provide market feedback to leadership, track and collaborate on BD opportunities, work with technical staff to develop proposals and scopes of work and estimate fees. • Lead Generation & Opportunity Tracking: Monitor RFPs, RFQs, and project announcements, develop and maintain strong business network. Qualifications: • 8+ years in AEC BD, strong network in associated industry. • Strong industry knowledge and communication skills. • CPSM certification or pursuit preferred.
